Emily Opack brings a unique blend of artistry and expertise to every design project she takes on. Originally from Boston, Emily spent the last decade living in Hawai’i, where she attended the University of Hawai’i and began her career. Now based in Colorado, her work is inspired by the vibrant tropical landscapes of her past and the rugged, ever-changing mountains of her new home. This deep connection to nature shapes her ability to craft harmonious interior environments where every element feels complete and beautifully connected.

One of Emily’s standout talents is her mastery of color. She has an exceptional eye for blending contrasting and complementary hues to create spaces that truly shine. Whether she’s designing a serene bedroom with warm, earthy tones that invite relaxation or a bold, vibrant kitchen that excites and inspires, Emily weaves colors together with artistry and intention, ensuring each project reflects her clients’ unique personalities and needs.

Emily’s creative roots run deep. As a lifelong artist with a passion for needlework, embroidery, and painting, she approaches design as a true art form, turning every space into a masterpiece. Her dedication to detail and craftsmanship ensures that no element is overlooked.

Beyond her design work, Emily is an avid photographer with a knack for capturing the beauty of the natural world. From photographing Bonobos in the Congo to Tamarins in Costa Rica and even Wolves and Grizzlies in Yellowstone, her adventures have given her a profound appreciation for balance, composition, and storytelling. This perspective translates seamlessly into her design approach, where she thoughtfully balances each element to create spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful.

Emily is excited to bring her creativity and expertise to your project. She looks forward to meeting you, hearing your vision, and helping you create a space you’ll love for years to come!

Jake Morris grew up in Maryland, where his love for creative design began with painting fantastical environments, building stick and snow structures, and exploring the outdoors. He went on to earn a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Maryland.

Jake’s career has taken him from designing breweries in Ireland to strawbale homes in the Mid-Atlantic, labs at the National Institutes of Health, community projects in Hawai’i, and conservation work in southern Mexico. These experiences have shaped his deep appreciation for how design influences both the smallest details and the larger functions of a space, whether in a busy city or a peaceful forest.

When he’s not designing, Jake is usually traveling, sketching, chasing around his foster dogs and resident cat, or enjoying time near the water—surfing, kayaking, or rowing. He also loves to nerd-out on fantasy novels and dabble in videogame development. Jake’s passion for new experiences is what drives his creativity, and he looks forward to bringing that energy to your project!
